UAE Visa
General Information about visas
There are several types of visas for visitors to UAE
Visitors who overstay are charged a penalty of 2000$ and are black-listed by immigration authorities as well which cause future difficulties obtaining a UAE visa again.
Nationalities exempted from pre-arranged UAE visa:
Citizens of AGCC
The citizens of the Arab Gulf Co-operation Council member states (Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia) do not need a visa.
Residents of AGCC
AGCC expatriate residents who meet certain conditions may obtain a non-renewable 30-day visa upon arrival at the approved ports of entry. Visitors who are businessmen, company managers or representatives, auditors, accountants, doctors, engineers or employees working in the public sector, their family members and drivers and servants sponsored by them are eligible for this visa. Employees from the labor and servant categories are not eligible for this type of visa.
Western Europe and Pacific Rim Citizens
Citizens of Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Malaysia, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, USA, Vatican City will be granted a free of charge for One Entry Visit visa on arrival in the UAE.
We don’t apply for visas for citizens of: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Sri-Lanka, Sudan, Somali, Tunisia, Uzbekistan, Yemen.
Nationalities not mentioned in the list above can apply for following types of visas:
Service Visa
This visa is valid for use within 14 days from the date of issue. The duration of stay is 14 days from date of entry, exclusive of arrival and departure days. It is NON-renewable.
This type of visa will only be issued as urgent at a fee of 200$.
The Service Visa holder may enter and depart the UAE through any airport.
Tourist Visa
The Tourist Visa is a special category of visas under the Visit Visa type, which can be obtained for individual tourists from CIS, Eastern Europe countries and Canada.
The holders of Tourist Visa are entitled to a 30 day stay which is NON-renewable.
14 days tourist visa fee is 150$, 30 days tourist visa fee is 200$.
Documents required for Service and Tourist Visas:
1) Clear coloured scanned copy of the first passport page (size not less than 100 KB)
2) Scanned coloured passport-sized photo (size not less than 50 KB)

What is a first time traveler?
A first time traveler is a person who has never visited a Schengen country previously.
Please note that Consulate General of Italy,Dubai , Dubai issues visas only for residents in its territory of operation - Emirates of Dubai, Sharjah, Ras - Al- Khaimah, Fujairah, Ajman & Umm - Al - Quwain.
If you are traveling to Italy for business, tourist, or other reasons please read the information sheets for each category carefully. Only applications with complete documentation can be processed by Consulate General of Italy,Dubai
2: Procedures
(a) For Schengen Visas ( C Type)
Once received by the Marutzzi Travel, applications will be sent to the Consulate General of Italy ,Dubai the next working day & the applicant will be given an appointment for a personal Interview ( if applicable) with the Consulate General of Italy ,Dubai. Once the assessment is completed by the Consulate General of Italy the decision together with the passport & the other relevant documents will be available for collection from the Marutzzi Travel.
Note:
The processing time for assessment of a Schengen visa at the Consular Agency of Italy varies according to the nationality of the applicant and the period of the year in which the application is given - summer period being the slowest - going from a minimum of 3 days to a maximum of a month.
It is advisable to check the status of the application only after the average processing time.

Schengen visa has to be obtained from the Embassy/Consulate of the country where the MAIN PURPOSE OF TRAVEL lies. Therefore, please check your travel plans before making your application to the Consulate General of Italy. In case of travel to multiple Schengen countries, please make your application to the Consulate where you will be staying for the maximum number of days, or from the Point of First Entry into the Schengen Countries, if the duration of stay is the same in more than one Schengen Country.

Marutzzi Travel provides logistic services to visa applicants seeking visa to enter Italy and is only responsible for the following:
1. To receive from an applicant his/her passport, completed visa form & supporting documentation and the applicable fees.
2. To submit the Documents to the Consulate General of Italy on behalf of the applicant.
3. To collect the relevant Documents back from the Consulate General of Italy after completion of all formalities, and return the relevant Documents back to the applicant by courier or at the counter. |

Procedures
Schengen Visas (Tourist and Business)
Once the application is received together with all the necessary documents it will be sent to the respective consulate and the applicant will be given an appointment for a personal interview (if applicable). The list of necessary documents can be viewed in the section "Documents required". Once the assessment is completed by the respective Consulate the decision together with the passport and other relevant documentation will be available for collection from the counter of Marutzzi Travel Café.
The processing time for assessment of a Schengen Visa is between 2 to 14 days depending on the type of visa and the nationality of the applicant.

The processing time is an indication only. The respective Consulates reserve the right to ask for further documentation.
Required Documents For a Business Visa
1. Application Form*
- Fully completed in English or German and signed and dated by the applicant himself. If the applicant is under the age of 16 both parents must sign the application form.
2. Passport Requirements
- Validity of at least 90 days from the date of expiry of the requested visa
at least one free page
- must contain valid UAE Residence Visa entitling holder to return to the UAE
3. Photocopy of the Passport, UAE Residence Visa and previous Schengen or UK-Visas
4. two Passport photographs Requirements
- Size 3,5 x 4,5 cm
- A frontal view of the face covering 70-80% (32-26mm) of the photo
- A uniform and light-coloured background
- Clear facial features and eyes – not covered by hair or frame of glasses Headcoverings are only accepted for religious reasons. Do not glue or staple the pictures to the application form.
5. Instruction Form
- Fully completed in English or German and signed and dated by the applicant himself.
6. Overseas Medical Insurance (original and photocopy) Requirements
- valid for the duration of the requested visa and all Schengen countries
- minimum coverage 30.000 € and repatriation
7. Letter from the local employer or sponsor stating purpose of travel, position, salary and begin of employment in the UAE.
8. Invitation letter from a German company or confirmation from the local employer or sponsor that all costs of the trip will be borne by the company. Company bank statements (last three months) may be required.
9. Copy of the valid Trade Licence of the company.
10. Air Ticket or PNR (Original and photocopy) *
Nationals of: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Belarus, Burundi, Columbia, Congo, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia,
Vietnam and Yemen must complete and hand in two application forms and Instruction Form
A and B.
Special rules apply for Palestinian nationals holding Lebanese Travel Documents and Somali nationals.
Please Note
- During the processing time the passport has to remain with the German Consulate in Dubai.
- The visa may take anywhere between 2 to 14 days to process depending on the nationality of the applicant.
- All Fees must be paid upon submission of the above in cash only.
- There is no refund if the visa application is refused.
- The Consulate reserves the right to ask for additional documents.
For a Tourist Visa

Australia Visa

Visitor and tourists
For the persons who intend a genuine short-term visit to Australia visit visa are available to them. These are not intended for persons who wish to work or remain permanently in Australia.
Visas are available with a stay of up to 12 months, depending on the reason of your visit and your ability to support yourself during your stay in Australia. Visa requirements include
§ Completed and signed Form 48R
§ Your original passport, or a copy of your passport, two recent passport photographs and visa application fee in
§ Full address details and telephone number of any relatives/contacts in Australia. § Evidence of adequate funds to support yourself whilst in Australia (eg. Statement of bank account showing transactions for the past 3 to 6 months).
§ A letter of employment confirming your period of employment, salary and approved period of leave (If you are self employed business owner, provide current business license and plans in place of your business while you are in overseas).
Sponsored visitors
Applicants of persons sponsored by family in Australia must now be lodged in Australia
Visa processing time
To assist in processing your visa application, please ensure that you provide complete information at time of lodgment. Processing time vary, but generally a decision should be available two weeks after the application is received in the Australian Consulate General Dubai. We will not respond to status enquiries within this time.
Please provide certified English translations of all Arabiclanguage supporting documents. Originals of all photocopied documents may be requested.
Business Visitors
Business visa are provided for persons wishing to attend a conference or training session, business negotiations, an exploratory business visit, establishing a business.
Visa requirements include
§ Completed and signed Form 456
§ Your original passport, or a copy of your passport, two recent passport photographs and visa application fee in UAE Dirham (exact cash, or demand bank draft drawn on a UAE bank).
§ Copies of business invitation and contact details of relatives/business associates in Australia.
§ Statements of bank account showing transaction for the past 3 to 6 months, or a statement of support from the business contact in Australia, or your employer. § A letter from your employer confirming your position, period of employment, salary and dates of business leave (If you are self employed business owner, provide current business license and arrangements).
Specific additional requirements
If you are a student, attach a registration record for the current year from your school or university or for the next academic year if you are applying during summer vacation. If you are under 18 years of age, provide your parents (or guardians) consent for leaving the country, certified by a justice of peace.
If you are a parent taking a child under 18 years of age, you must provide the written consent of the other parent, certified by justice of the peace, allowing the child to leave the country and travel to Australia.
If you are over 70 years of age, your doctor must fill form “proforma for offshore applicants aged 70 and over’ to indicate that you are in good health and fit to travel by air. Also attach overseas health insurance covering your period of stay in Australia (to be submitted upon request) If you will be visiting a hospital or health care facility for any reason, you will need to have an x-ray and, in some circumstances, a medical examination. |
China Visa
China Visa Requirement
1. A letter from the applicant's company or sponsor ,attached with the copy of the trade license of this company or the passport of this sponsor
2. Original passport with empty visa pages, still valid for more than 6 months
3. UAE resident visa still valid for more than 6 months. (for non-UAE applicants)
4. Application Form, which must be completed and signed by the applicant.
5. One passport photo (if there are persons accompanying applicant and included in his/her passport, if they plan to travel with the applicant provide the photos of them also)
6. Copies of the information pages of the applicant's passport and UAE resident visa
7. The visa notices from the authorized government departments, e.g. the foreign affairs offices, the foreign trade offices of the cities or provinces where you plan to visit. (for business)
8. Confirmed round-trip tickets and hotel bookings
9. Personal bank statement of recent 3 months (until the application day.)
NOTE
1. The passport information pages include the pages with the photograph and the issue and expiry dates of this passport, as well as any amendment pages.
2. All the documents are expected to be prepared tidily in the size of the application form. (The consul remains the right to make the final decision on your application and ask the applicants to provide some additional documents.)
3. Please keep well the pickup form for your passports. In case the pickup form is lost, the passport holder must come in person with his/her own valid ID to pick up the passport.
II. Methods of Application & Processing Time
Applicants are required to appear in the visa office to apply. If an applicant cannot come personally, he/she may entrust a relative, friend, or travel/visa agent to come and submit the application on his/her behalf. No appointment is necessary for visa applications.
The Chinese Consulate does not accept visa applications by mail.
Regularly it takes 4-5 working days to process.
Visas are not issued on the same day of application.
III. Visa Fee, Validity, & Duration of Stay
Visa fee is payable in cash on the day of collection. Credit cards, money order or bank checks are not acceptable.
Unless the applicant specifies his/her request on the application form and obtains approval from the consular officers, the validity of the visa is generally 3 months, with the duration of stay being up to 30 days. |

Image must be taken within the last 3 months
Photograph should be in colour, must be taken against a white background with a matt or semi-matt finish
Image must show the full face and without headgear (headgear worn in accordance with religious or racial customs is acceptable but must not hide the facial features)
Photocopy of the applicant's passport bio-data page. Please ensure that the passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry
Checklist 4 attached to Form 14A
Completed Form V39A (Letter of Introduction for Visa Application)¹
Computer printout of the Singapore registered company’s detailed business profile (showing the names of all the directors and partners) from the Instant Information Service, Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and printed within the last 3 months
¹ Letter of Introduction (LOI) may be issued by a local contact in Singapore. Any Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident can act as a local contact. For visa applicants intending to attend business negotiations or discussions in Singapore, the local contact must be a Singapore registered corporation. If you are not able to furnish a LOI from a local contact, you may approach your Embassy or Ministry of Foreign Affairs to issue a LOI to support your visa application.
For Social Visit (visiting friends, relatives and for tourism)
Completed Form 14A (original)

The fee is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application or if you withdraw the application after submission.

3-4 working days (excluding the day of submission)
Important Notes
Original supporting documents will be returned immediately after verification at the submission counter
Incomplete forms and/or documents submitted may result in the application being rejected or delayed.
Every application for a visa will be considered on its own merits.
Possession of a visa does not guarantee entry into Singapore. Visitors must also meet entry requirements such as holding a valid passport, sufficient funds for the period of stay in Singapore and confirmed onward/return air ticket. |
India Visa
Foreign nationals entering India are required to possess a valid international travel document in the form of a national passport .
All visa seekers are required to apply in the prescribed form for visa. The prescribed application form may be obtained from the visa section at the Marutzzi Travel.
The application, complete in all respects, with 2 passport-size photographs and a photocopy of the passport (first 2 pages and the page with the UAE residence visa).
Please ensure the following, when submitting your application
1. Passport should be valid for a minimum of six months beyond the date of intended departure from India.
2. Paste one photo and staple the other one on the form at a specified place.
3. Non Residents should have a residence visa of UAE and GCC nationals should submit proof of permanent residence in the country. In its absence, a reference has to be made to the country of residence for which an additional fee of Dhs.50/- is applicable and will involve extra processing time of 7 days.
4. The application forms should be filled only in English. Applications filled in Arabic will not be accepted. Please fill all columns and do not leave any column blank.
5. Each visa application is considered on its merits and the Consulate may ask for additional information at any stage during the processing of the application. Submission of application along with prescribed fee does not guarantee issuance of visa.
Visa Requirements
TOURIST VISA
Applicants have to fill in application form. The form is to be submitted along with two recent passport size photographs and passport in original and a photocopy of its first two pages and the page with UAE residence visa.
BUSINESS VISA
Application in the prescribed from, letter of invitation received from business house or company in India with which business is to be transacted, a letter from the local employer sponsoring the business trip along with two passport sized photographs,
the passport in original and a photocopy of its first pages and the page with UAE residence visa should be submitted.
Visa Validation
The duration of stay in India, for each visit on a tourist visa or business visa is only for a period of 6 months even though a visa may be valid for more than 6 months.
Visa is given for a period for which passport is valid.
Validity of all visas is counted from the date of their issue.
Tourist visa up to 5 years may be granted if the foreigner is connected with the tourism trade.
If visa is for more than 180 days, registration is compulsory within 14 days of first arrival in India. |
Thailand Visa
Thailand Visa requirement
3 application forms + 4 photographs
Photographs specifications-should be in Identical Coloured Passport size preferably white background and recently taken within 6 months from the date of visa application.
Profile of the frontal face appearance should be zoomed, no side profiles will be accepted
ALL ORIGINAL DOCUMENTATION SHOULD BE SUBMITTED WITH THEIR PHOTOCOPIES TOO.
Detailed TYPED ONLY Company signed with seal Letter (Introduction, No Objection to Travel, Occupation, Duration of work with the Company, income/salary per month/annum) stated from UAE sponsor. (Handwritten Sponsor letters will be rejected)
(in case ) occupation of Housewife (No Objection to travel letter –TYPED ONLY from the husband/sponsor with husband's /sponsor's passport photocopy must be attached)
(in case ) occupation of infant/student (No Objection to travel letter from the father/sponsor with father's /sponsor's passport photocopy must be attached)
Confirmed Original onward or return tickets and its photocopy

Please be informed that only applicants with a valid UAE residence visa for 6 months are issued from the Consulate-General in Dubai, if they do not have the UAE residence visa they must apply from the Thai Embassy whose jurisdiction covers their countries
If the applicant is travelling for the first time to Thailand, and do not have a UAE residence visa, additional requirement
1. Request letter from their respective Consulates/Embassies
2. Guarantee letter from a Thai Company in Thailand
3. Letter from the place of work of the applicant, besides the usual documentation will be required to facilitate the visa and the applicant will be advised to apply their next visa from the place of origin or from the authorised Thai Embassy/Consulate who covers the country that do not have a Thai Embassy/Consulate

Russian visa
Visiting Russia?
Get your Russian visa with us within two days, with minimum documents. Save your time and money. The only documents we need from your side are your passport and two photos. The price ranges from AED 1200 to AED 1500, depending on the applicant’s citizenship. Our visa department timing:10 am - 7 pm. Please come to fill in an application form for the country you wish to visit and bring the minimum documents required.
Documents required for applying a Russian visa:

South Africa Visa
The Embassy provides a number of immigration services to the South African community in the United Arab Emirates, as well as foreign nationals resident in the United Arab Emirates who would like to visit South Africa.
Who needs a visa?
A visa may be issued to foreigners who wish to holiday (tourism), visit family and friends, attend business
meetings/negotiations/workshops/seminars/conferences.
A visa may also be issued to attend study courses or attend training for a period less than three months.
What are the requirements?
Validity of passport should be no less than 30 days after the expiry of intended visit. The passport must have at least two blank visa pages (one to endorse the visa and one for entry stamps). The original passport + one copy of all relevant pages must be submitted.

v Completed BI-84 application form
v A vaccination certificate, if required by the Act.
v Proof of financial means in the form of - bank statements • salary advices• undertaking(s) by the host(s) in the Republic• bursaries• medical cover, or• cash available, including credit cards statements or travellers' cheques to cover envisaged living expenses during the sojourn in the Republic.
v Applicants travelling by air must be in possession of a provisional return or onward flight booking. No fixed travel arrangements must however be made prior to the issuing of the visa.
v A person who is unable to comply with above requirement, may be required to make a deposit: Provided that such deposit shall be refunded to the depositor after the final departure of the applicant or after a permit contemplated in section 25 of the Act has been issued to the applicant: Provided further that the payment of the deposit may be effected by means of a bank guaranteed cheque or cash.
v If a minor child subject to guardianship or custody is accompanying the applicant or joining the applicant in South Africa, then proof of guardianship and custody is required.
v In the case of an unaccompanied minor, consent from the guardian is required.
v Statement and/or documentation confirming purpose and duration of visit.
§ For business visits (meetings, negotiations, workshops, seminars, conferences and training) letters from both the United Arab Emirates and the South African host company/organisation should be submitted. The letters should confirm the nature and duration of the visit.
§ For tourist visits, a provisional hotel booking or travel itinerary is acceptable.
§ For family visits, an invitation letter from the South African host (with full contact details and South African ID number/residence number) is acceptable.
§ For all other types of visits, adequate documentation must be produced which confirms the nature of the visit and the duration of the visit.
How long does the visa take to process
The processing period for all visas is 4 (four) working days.
Other important information regarding visas
v Only applicants with valid residence in the United Arab Emirates can apply through the South African Embassy and Consulate in the United Arab Emirates.
v The visa only enables the holder to proceed to a port of entry before or on the expiry date of the visa, where the holder must comply with the applicable law, regulation and entry requirements.
v The visa shall upon admission, be considered to be a permit for the purpose of the Act and the period of validity of that permit shall be calculated from the date of admission.
v The period for which a permit will be valid will be set out under the heading” conditions” on the visa label.
v Applicants must ensure that they apply for the correct visa/permit as any change in the purpose of stay may be refused if the purpose of the original entry was not correctly stated.
v The holder of a visitor’s permit may not conduct work unless specifically authorised to do so in terms of Section 11(2) of the Act.
v The holder of a visitors permit may not establish or operate a business.
v Visas cannot be applied for at a South African port of entry (for example, an airport).
v Any applicant allowed entry into South Africa due to misrepresentation, or false declaration on the application form or who stays in South Africa in contravention of his/her visa/permit conditions shall be guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine or to imprisonment as an illegal foreigner.
v After a visa is issued, the passport must contain one unused “visa” page for entry stamps.

1. To receive from an applicant his/her passport, completed visa form & supporting documentation and the applicable fees.

Other Conditions:

It must be noted that the grant or refusal of the visa is at the sole discretion of the Consulate and Marutzzi Travel is neither involved in the process nor is liable or responsible in any manner whatsoever for any delay in processing or grant or rejection of the visa application of any applicant by the Consulate.
Marutzzi Travel takes every reasonable precaution while handling the Documents of applicants. However, shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever to the applicant for any Documents which are lost in transit by accident, theft, natural calamities (act of god) or any other reason outside the control of, or not arising out of a willful default of, Marutzzi Travel.
The applicant agrees and accepts that Marutzzi Travel neither controls the Consulate nor does it control or operate the services provided by them. Hence, Marutzzi Travel will not be liable or responsible in any manner whatsoever for the loss or damage of applicant Documents is due to any default on the part of the Consulate.
The application fees once received by Marutzzi Travel from the applicant will not be refundable under any circumstances, irrespective of whether or not the desired visa is granted by the Consular Agency to the applicant.
Marutzzi Travel, in its sole discretion, may change, amend, cancel or withdraw any or all of the terms and conditions mentioned herein at any time without any prior notice. No employee of Marutzzi Travel has any authority whatsoever to change / amend / amplify or withdraw any or all of the terms and conditions mentioned herein without the prior written approval of Marutzzi Travel.
These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE. Any claims or disputes arising in relation to the services provided by Marutzzi Travel to the applicant shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in UAE.
The applicant hereby accepts and confirms that the applicant and/or his/her representative, prior to submitting the visa application, has read, understood and agreed to be bound by, without limitation or qualification, all of the terms, conditions and details provided herein. |
